Glimmer.....the beginnings
Finding glimmers of gold in the rich soil and glimmers of hope in dark times Part of my historical practice, I am inspired to make work about a place and or social history. Using eco printing as a base, using leaves from the actual place that has inspired by, it’s good to go for a walk to see the landscape. Artist in residence (the back story)
I'm so excited to be writing about this new project, it's a first for me, to have applied for my first residency and then actually got it! Coming directly from all those self initiated projects that I want to do, because I was interested and inspired in the hope they would lead to something exciting. The residency starts in May at Discover Bucks Museum, inspired by their new exhibition 'The Saxons' which is an immersive display of 3 prominent Saxon digs from Buckinghamshire.

Outdoor art adventures Part 4!
So, thank you for keeping up, I'm back at Raveningham with this one for the 2nd Year! If you haven't read my first adventure there in 2024, its here for reference.
